Biodarma receives the European Technology and Innovation Award

This new award complements the various European awards already granted to the cookie company.

The company Biodarma has recently received the European Technology and Innovation Prize awarded by the European Association for Industry, Technology and Innovation (AEITI). The awards ceremony was held on November 26 at the Hotel Alfonso XIII in Seville. The award was collected by Emilia García Sánchez, manager and founder of Biodarma, from the hands of Jordi Bentanach, president of AEITI. This distinction is a recognition of the business trajectory and commitment to technology and innovation of the biscuit company.

At the time of the award presentation, the manager thanked all those present for having received this award. She also commented "we are a team of people who are making ecological, vegan and one hundred percent vegetable cookies, for us this award is a spark of light on the way".

This new distinction comes to complete the different recognitions at European level, with which Biodarma already counts, mainly by the German Agricultural Society (DLG). It is the only Spanish confectionery company that has won different Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals, thanks to some of its original cookies. It has also won the First Prize in the category Healthy and Sustainable Food Initiative of the Generalitat Valenciana.

Biodarma products are currently distributed in supermarkets, specialized nutrition stores, HORECA channels and through its website. Only organic products (Bio) and extra virgin olive oil are used in their raw materials and they try to minimize the risk of food allergies by avoiding the use of egg, milk or wheat in most of their recipes.

On the other hand, the European Association of Industry, Technology and Innovation (AEITI) is formed by a group of businessmen committed to the technological and innovative advancement of the industry, whose main objective is to help and support Spanish companies to advance and lead within Europe. AEITI also aims to build business bridges between Europe and Latin America. The European Technology and Innovation Award is its most important event and is held annually to recognize the work of companies committed to technology and/or innovation.
